About this Apprenticeship
We are looking for a surveying engineer to join our route planning team as soon as possible.
What You'll Learn
- Carry out engineering surveys to support route and bridge planning
- Perform calculations needed for surveying work in the field
- Choose surveying methods in consultation with the engineers responsible for each project
Requirements
- A completed degree in Geodesy (Dipl.-Ing. FH / B.Eng. / B.Sc. / Master) or comparable skills and experience
- Several years of relevant work experience
- Preferred: sound knowledge of engineering and cadastral surveying and the relevant technical standards and rules
- Ideally, experience using CAD/GIS systems, basic knowledge of exchanging geographic data in road construction, and confident use of MS Office programs
- Preferred: knowledge of engineering geodesy and terrestrial surveying methods
- A committed, reliable, responsible and independent approach to work
- Enjoyment of teamwork
- Strategic, cost-conscious thinking and action that consider the whole picture
