Toolmaker Apprenticeship, Specialising in Surgical Instrument Technology

A 3.5-year toolmaker apprenticeship specialising in surgical instrument technology at B. Braun in Tuttlingen, starting in September 2027. Training covers assembly, pneumatics and hydraulics, quality control, production planning and CNC programming.

• Assembly: Learn to assemble parts and components.
• Pneumatics and hydraulics: Learn the basics of building pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Quality control: Help ensure that products meet the company’s high quality standards.
• Production planning: Plan and manage the workflow so that everything runs smoothly.
• Practical experience: Gain experience in creating CNC programs.

• A school leaving certificate by the start of training, at least a Hauptschulabschluss, with good grades in maths and physics
