Technical Trainee Development Program Management Raw Material Extraction Quarry

For our branch Südwestdeutsche Hartsteinwerke in the Southwest German region we are looking for a technical trainee (f/m/d) full-time, starting immediately. You actively shape – from the development of extraction strategies through planning to the equipment of mobile devices. You expand your expertise – e.g. in deposit geology, hydrogeology, rock qualities as well as in optimizing value creation. You ensure efficiency – by monitoring and economically optimizing processing processes. You set impulses for sustainability – through the implementation of long-term maintenance strategies. You get to know the company processes – from administration and sales through procurement to the further development of our management systems in the team. You grow into leadership – through gradual assumption of responsibility in staff management and in driving occupational safety at our sites.

You have a successfully completed engineering degree with focus on raw materials/mining (Mining Engineering), raw materials engineering, sustainable raw materials and energy supply, mechanical engineering, geotechnics or process engineering. Ideally you have already completed relevant internships. Alternatively you have a technical vocational training supplemented by further training as a technician, master craftsman or technical business administrator (f/m/d). The ability to think entrepreneurially, combined with a structured, independent working style characterizes you. You enjoy putting your theoretical knowledge into practice and expanding it. You have good German skills in word and writing. Willingness to travel within your trainee period within Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland is no problem for you.

Our trainee program prepares you for your future role as specialist and manager. During your trainee program you will go through various technical areas (quarry, asphalt, concrete, laboratory). We offer you excellent takeover chances, e.g. as plant manager or plant engineer (f/m/d) and through diverse training and further education opportunities a long-term career perspective.
