What You'll Learn
- Set up highly complex computer controlled systems
- Analyse how functions connect and how processes run
- Test automation systems
- Maintain and operate automation equipment, hand it over to users and teach them how to use it
- Install and connect electrical equipment
- Monitor equipment and improve control loops
- Find and fix faults
Requirements
- At least a basic school leaving certificate, such as Berufsreife or Hauptschulabschluss
- Reliable colour vision
- Interest in how devices work, physics and data processing
- An accurate and analytical approach to work
