About this Apprenticeship
At BASF in Ludwigshafen, you will learn to install, set up, program and repair electrical systems.
What You'll Learn
- Assemble and install cable routing systems, information and power cables, including general supply lines
- Install and set up machines and drive systems
- Assemble and wire switching devices and automation systems
- Program and configure systems
- Check system functions and safety devices
- Analyse faults, take immediate action and repair systems
- Hand over systems and teach users how to operate them
Requirements
- At least a lower secondary school leaving certificate
- Reliable colour vision
- Interest in practical technical work, physics, mathematics and computer science
- An accurate and analytical approach to work
