Electrical technician

Electrical technician role at BAUER installing, assembling and commissioning electrical systems on construction sites. The work includes independently handling assigned areas and supporting the lead installer.

• Support the lead installer in carrying out work properly on the construction site and independently take charge of assigned areas
• Install, assemble and commission electrical systems and components, such as power, lighting, communications, security and automation systems
• Work from technical drawings, wiring diagrams and work preparation instructions
• Carry out electrical measurements and document them properly
• Test building systems, resolve faults and carry out necessary repairs
• Help with site measurements, documentation and changes to plans

• You have completed electrical vocational training recognised in Germany, for example as an electronics technician for energy and building technology
• You have good spoken and written German skills to work independently
• You have experience installing and commissioning electrical systems
• You can confidently read and follow technical drawings and wiring diagrams
• You work well in a team and enjoy supporting colleagues on construction sites
• A category B driving licence is desirable
