Electronics Technician for Framework Contract GFZ Potsdam

Installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems on the construction site at the GFZ Helmholtz Centre for Geosciences in Potsdam.

• You work in installation, maintenance and repair of electrical systems on our construction site at the GFZ Helmholtz Centre for Geosciences in Potsdam
• You work closely in a team, always in coordination with the responsible site management
• You independently carry out smaller repairs on faulty switches, sockets, fuses, switch cabinets and cables
• You take part in conversions of emergency lighting systems, switchgear and low-voltage systems and maintain them
• You are responsible for preparing measurements and billing documents and for creating test and measurement reports for electrical systems and devices
• You follow the procedures in the QM manual, occupational safety guidelines and the recognized rules of electrical engineering

• You have completed electrical training recognized in Germany, e.g. as an electronics technician for energy and building technology or for automation and systems technology
• You have good technical understanding and strong manual skills
• Your service-oriented manner lets you communicate professionally with customers and colleagues
• You work responsibly, pay attention to detail and have high standards for the quality of your work, so you complete tasks reliably and efficiently
• You are a team player, can integrate well and work with others
