Building Automation Electronics Technician

Install, program, commission and maintain building automation systems. The role includes installation in line with regulations, technical documentation, measurements and fault finding.

• Support the senior installer and take responsibility for proper installation that complies with regulations in your construction site area
• Install, program and commission building automation systems, including lighting, energy, communications, security and automation technology
• Read and confidently work from technical drawings, circuit diagrams and technical documents
• Install cable routing systems, power and data cables, and measurement, control, regulation and automation systems
• Carry out and document electrical measurements and commission building services systems
• Inspect, monitor and maintain systems, systematically identify faults and take suitable action when faults occur

• You have completed electrical vocational training recognised in Germany, preferably in building infrastructure electronics or systems mechatronics
• You have experience in building automation, energy, communications or security technology
• You take a structured approach to fault finding and give customers service-focused advice on technical options
• You help prepare site measurements and documentation and share your knowledge with apprentices during their training
• You have a strong command of German so you can work independently and prepare documentation
• You work carefully and independently and consistently follow quality management processes, work instructions and safety rules
