Inside Sales Employee, Building Automation

BAUER is seeking an inside sales employee for building automation. Tasks include reviewing customer enquiries, preparing technical and commercial cost estimates, creating quotes and preparing project handovers.

• Review and assess enquiries: Analyse customer enquiries and specifications and assess whether projects are technically and financially workable
• Prepare cost estimates: Calculate the technical and commercial costs of building automation projects and provide a sound basis for quotes
• Coordinate quotes and suppliers: Obtain supplier quotes, work with purchasing and prepare convincing customer quotes that meet formal requirements
• Support sales: Follow up on quotes, spot opportunities and help win orders
• Prepare and hand over projects: Work closely with project managers, create project documents and handover folders, and prepare organised project handovers

• Technical qualification: You have completed technical vocational training, ideally with further training as a master craftsperson or technician in electrical engineering, building services engineering, or measurement and control technology
• Technical knowledge: You have experience in planning and costing building automation systems. Knowledge of planning tools such as TRIC, wscad BA-Control, WEB PROJECT or EPLAN Preplanning is an advantage
• Business understanding: You think analytically, work in an organised way and pay close attention to costs
• IT skills: You use Microsoft Office confidently and ideally have experience with costing and ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics or Powerbird
• Teamwork and learning: You enjoy working with different teams, contribute ideas and want to keep building your knowledge and sharing it with the team
