Apprenticeship as an IT Specialist for Data and Process Analysis

As an IT specialist for data and process analysis, you will work with data, digital processes and modern IT solutions. The apprenticeship at Bayerischer Rundfunk focuses on IT and media technology, with exposure to various IT, data and media areas and participation in real projects. The company-based training takes place at the BR site in Munich-Freimann; vocational school is in Munich.

Collect, prepare and analyze data from different sources. Check and improve data quality. Analyze business and work processes and identify optimization potential. Help design, automate and develop data-based processes and applications. Learn about and use databases, interfaces and modern data platforms. Create and clearly present analyses, key figures and visualizations. Work in teams on projects involving data, artificial intelligence, data protection and data security. Advise and support departments on data- and process-related questions.

A good intermediate school-leaving qualification or completed Abitur/university of applied sciences entrance qualification, preferably with a technical or scientific focus. Enthusiasm for IT, data, digitalization and new technologies, plus solid IT skills. Strong mathematics and analytical understanding. Logical, structured and solution-oriented thinking. Enjoyment of understanding complex relationships and processes. Interest in programming, databases and large volumes of data. Careful, reliable and independent working style. Enjoyment of teamwork and exchanging ideas.
