Registered Nurse | Hans-Lachmann Haus | Bielefeld

Bethel.regional supports people with disabilities, children and young people, and people with mental illness or addiction. At the Hans-Lachmann Haus in Bielefeld-Eckardtsheim there is a permanent full-time position (up to 39 hours per week) as a nursing professional / curative education nurse / elderly care nurse (m/f/d), ideally starting as soon as possible, with a flexible start date.

• Support & promotion: Supporting people with participation needs in cognitive skills as well as additional needs related to epilepsy, autism or psychiatric diagnoses
• Enabling participation: Developing individual offers together with clients, involving the local community, to shape social participation as well as possible
• Cooperation & exchange: Working with external services such as proWerk, the crisis team or the autism specialist service, and close coordination in the multiprofessional team
• Documentation: Structured recording and reflection of the measures carried out
• Advice: Advising staff on questions about care
• Medication management: Checking expiry dates and dispensing guidelines

• Qualification: Completed 3-year training as a health and nursing carer / pediatric nurse / curative education nurse / elderly care nurse / nursing professional, or a bachelor's degree in healthcare or similar (m/f/d)
• Experience or curiosity: Knowledge of disability support and/or psychiatry, or willingness to get to know this field
• Flexibility & team spirit: Willingness to work shifts and weekends, plus creativity and resilience for individual participation planning
• Driving licence: Class B for more mobility in daily work
