Registered Nurse - Paediatric Intensive Care Units (K1, K2)

The University Department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine at Bethel Children's Centre is seeking nurses for K1, the intensive care unit for children and adolescents, and K2, the Level 1 neonatal intensive care unit for premature and newborn babies (Gilead I).

• You will provide nursing care and support for children needing intensive care, including premature and newborn babies, in a highly specialised setting.
• You will work closely with a team of different healthcare professionals.
• You will mainly work on one unit. Rotation between the two units should be possible after structured induction.

• You have completed three years of healthcare training, for example in children's nursing or general nursing with a paediatric care specialisation, and have at least 1260 hours of direct neonatal or paediatric acute care experience.
• You have specialist training in paediatric intensive care and anaesthesia; otherwise, you must take the two-year specialist course alongside your work.
• Ideally, you already have work experience in neonatology or paediatrics.
• You are empathetic and treat patients, relatives and colleagues from all professions with skill and friendliness.
• You work well in a team and value working with other professions.
