In the dual and training-integrated study program you acquire in 8 semesters the bachelor's degree, the professional licensure as a nursing specialist and the permission to practice extended medical activities. Besides theory teaching at Hochschule Bochum, the training takes place in skills labs and professional practice. Practical assignments take place at BG Klinikum Duisburg and at external cooperation partners of Hochschule Bochum in inpatient long-term care, outpatient care, pediatric and psychiatric care. Start of the dual training is each winter semester starting 01.09.

• General higher education entrance qualification ("Abitur") at a grammar school, comprehensive school, etc.
