Industrial Mechanic Apprenticeship 2027

Three-and-a-half-year apprenticeship as an industrial mechanic at the BIRKENSTOCK site in Pasewalk. The training covers monitoring and operating production equipment as well as its assembly, installation, commissioning, maintenance and repair.

Monitoring and operating production machinery; inspecting production equipment and ensuring it is operational; building, installing, networking and commissioning machines and production systems; maintaining and repairing operating equipment and technical systems; selecting testing equipment, identifying causes of faults and replacing defective or worn components; checking bearings and tightening screws; manufacturing replacement parts using CNC machines.

Successful intermediate secondary school qualification; technical interest and solid mathematical understanding; manual dexterity, spatial awareness and precision; willingness to learn, sense of responsibility and team skills; good comprehension, solution-oriented thinking and patience; physical resilience and safe handling of tools and machines; German at least at B2 level; English or Polish is an advantage.
