Intern High-Voltage Battery Development

Our team at the BMW Group is dedicated to developing high-voltage batteries for electric and hybrid vehicles. During your internship, you will gain insights into the series development of components, the overall structure and the integration of high-voltage batteries. You will support us in developing forward-looking technologies.

• You support our team in developing electrical energy storage systems optimized for space and cost, as well as in CAD and test planning and data analysis in Excel and Python.
• You also support the creation of concepts and the design of sub-scopes.
• You also contribute to mechanical design and support the validation of individual components through simulation and tests.
• You also support the team in implementing and applying artificial intelligence in the development process.

• Advanced studies in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering or a comparable degree program, preferably specializing in artificial intelligence.
• First practical experience applying artificial intelligence, preferably in engineering.
• Practical knowledge of CAD programs (e.g. surface design, part design and assembly design), ideally CATIA V5.
• Basic knowledge of systematic design, product development and use of FEM simulation programs.
• Confident use of MS Office.
• Driver's license class B.
• Good German and English skills.
