Our team at the BMW Group ensures the worldwide provision of logistical needs by supporting the purchasing of material and spare parts transport including air and container sea freight as well as contract logistics during the internship. We cooperate with internal interfaces and service providers worldwide and offer you the opportunity to gain valuable insights into purchasing and logistics.

• Support the team in strategic and operational purchasing activities.
• Help create and prepare bid evaluations and improve the strategic direction of purchasing processes.
• Interact with suppliers and internal departments.
• Help prepare negotiations, broadening your varied range of tasks.

• Studies in business administration, business informatics, economics or a comparable qualification (preferably with IT skills).
• Interest in new technologies and systems and confident use of MS Office applications.
• Ideally, initial experience in purchasing.
• Analytical thinking and the ability to quickly understand complex topics.
• Initiative and a structured approach.
• Business-fluent German and English.
