Commercial Property Service Technician, Cologne

Service technician installing and maintaining equipment in commercial properties within the Commercial Property Service business unit in Cologne. This is a permanent position.

• Property equipment: You equip commercial properties with modern metering equipment, including heat, cooling and water meters, heat cost allocators and energy monitoring technology, with proper installation, replacement and complete documentation.
• Wireless system installation and commissioning: You install and commission wireless systems and M-Bus meters and ensure they work correctly.
• Customer coordination and communication: You independently coordinate with customers and their local contacts, arrange appointments and ensure work runs smoothly.
• Property inspections and technical surveys: You help your team inspect properties, assess existing metering arrangements and record the results clearly and systematically.
• Quality assurance: You inspect completed work and ensure internal and external services meet company standards.
• Training and instruction: You train service partners and metering and installation teams and ensure they follow company processes correctly.

• You have completed technical vocational training, preferably in plumbing, heating and air conditioning systems.
• You have solid experience working in the field as a service fitter or service technician.
• You have a very good understanding of complex systems.
• You have good communication skills and a customer-focused, professional manner.
• You work with a strong focus on service, take responsibility and are reliable.
• You hold a valid category B driving licence and are willing to carry out occasional installation work at other locations within Germany.
• You enjoy teamwork and developing your professional and personal skills.
