Third-in-Command (Drittkraft) in Retail

As a Drittkraft you take on important tasks in daily store operations and are a reliable support for the store management. You keep an overview in stressful situations, take the lead and work with the team to keep things running smoothly.

• You lead the store when the store manager or deputy is absent
• Responsibility for cash and safe handling as well as cash register closing
• Organizing and managing daily business
• Scheduling staff according to operational needs
• Opening and closing the store, including alarm notifications outside opening hours
• Contact person for customers and for complaints or problem cases
• You actively support your team in the different store areas – from goods flow to freshness checks

• Completed vocational training in retail or comparable professional experience
• Ideally some first experience in a position of responsibility in a store
• Flexibility, commitment and a confident manner – even in challenging situations
• Reliability, organizational skills and team orientation
• Willingness to work flexible hours (including evenings and weekends)
