Third-in-Command in Retail

As third-in-command you take on important tasks in daily store operations and are a reliable support for the store management. You keep an overview in stressful situations and ensure smooth operations together with the team.

• You lead the store when the store manager or deputy is absent
• Responsibility for cash and safe handling and cash register closing
• Organizing and managing daily business
• Scheduling employees according to operational needs
• Opening and closing the store, including alarm alerts outside opening hours
• Contact person for customers and for complaints or problem cases
• You actively support your team in the various store areas – from goods flow to freshness checks

• A completed apprenticeship in retail or comparable work experience
• Ideally first experience in a position of responsibility in a store
• Flexibility, commitment and confident demeanor – even in challenging situations
• Reliability, organizational skills and team orientation
• Willingness to work flexible hours (including evenings and weekends)
