Currently we are looking for the 'Control Services' department of the Hanover branch office at the earliest possible date - permanent - committed colleagues for traffic control (m/f/d). At the following duty station in the area of the Hanover branch office we are looking for colleagues to supplement existing teams: 20539 Hamburg.

What You'll Learn

What exactly are your tasks as a traffic controller level 1: You control together with your team partner in particular the proper payment of the truck toll on motorways and federal highways. For this you use a technically excellently equipped vehicle that enables mobile controls in the toll network as well as networking with the stationary control infrastructure (control bridges or control columns) at selected locations on motorways and federal highways and carrying out controls according to special legal areas such as the holiday driving ban or the regulations on dimensions and weights. In case of suspicion you direct vehicles out and carry out a thorough check. In case of missing or incorrect toll payment you collect the outstanding toll directly on site and, if necessary, take further measures. Accompanying you prepare control reports and notifications and take over e.g. the collection of non-cash payments or data transfer for further prosecution of the violation by BALM (initiating an administrative offense procedure). Together with your team you also carry out controls according to special legal areas, e.g. whether the regulations on the dimensions of the truck or the Sunday and holiday driving ban are complied with. In addition, you regularly participate in test/pilot procedures and attend service meetings, training sessions and, if necessary, court appointments.
