Cloud Engineer

Building and maintaining cloud infrastructure for applications based on microservice architectures, containers, and cloud platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker). Automated provisioning and management of infrastructure using tools such as Terraform and Pulumi. Use of orchestration solutions like Kubernetes for efficient deployment, scaling, and management of container applications. Building and maintaining automated build, test, and deployment pipelines (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery). Management and optimization of a highly available IT landscape with focus on security, compliance, monitoring, scalability, and resilience. Development of robust and scalable Python scripts that withstand peak loads and failures.

Completed degree in (Business) Informatics, IT vocational training, or comparable qualification. Experience with modern DevOps practices and tools and enthusiasm for continuously optimizing processes (preferably initial experience with Azure DevOps, Bamboo). Experience in operating and automating cloud platforms (e.g., K8s, Google Cloud, STACKIT, Azure or similar), minimum one provider. Initial knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi) or similar as well as monitoring (e.g., with Grafana and Prometheus). Team spirit, agile working style, willingness to learn – and optionally Mario Kart skills. Good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
