IT Dispatcher and Service Control

With over 8,000 colleagues, we operate and modernise one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures in Germany. We are looking for responsible IT specialists who want to further develop the Bundeswehr IT out of conviction in challenging digitalisation projects and thus make a contribution to Germany's security. The Service Center Erfurt ensures on-site service for the Bundeswehr users in its area of responsibility. This includes troubleshooting, new installations and refresh of IT and telecommunications end devices and systems.

• Acceptance, qualitative examination and further processing and disposition of technician assignments
• Timely and cost-efficient disposition as well as compliance with and monitoring of service levels
• Tool-supported control and support of service technicians for order fulfilment
• Pre- and post-work activities such as tool-supported verification of infrastructural prerequisites, support in logistical tasks including ensuring material supply and participation in documentation of cable routes
• Communication between customers, external companies, internal interfaces and service technicians
• Commissioning of external companies for order fulfilment
• Participation in optimisation projects

• Completed vocational training as a system electronics technician, IT specialist for system integration or comparable qualification
• At least three years of relevant professional experience in the field of dispatching / disposition / coordination / scheduling, ideally in the IT and telecommunications sector
• Strong IT affinity and sound knowledge of ticket systems, service times (SLAs), IT processes and MS Office
• Desirable: knowledge in the field of IT network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, WLAN) and experience in quality management
• Experience and knowledge of the special features of the customer Bundeswehr is an advantage
• Own initiative, organisational skills, good team and communication skills as well as customer and quality orientation
• Fluent German skills in word and writing as well as driving licence class B
