Junior Systems Engineer Windows Server Automation

The Windows department is responsible for the trouble-free operation of the highly complex Windows server landscape. Here we configure, administer and troubleshoot our highly virtualized Windows server infrastructure with the latest operating system versions. Whether cluster, admin center or PowerShell scripting; we are the trusted partner for the operation of the world's most widely used server OS.

Installation, configuration, commissioning, administration and monitoring of Microsoft Windows servers and clusters. Operational implementation of changes within release management with subsequent documentation of IT infrastructure changes in the designated configuration databases. Incident acceptance, error analysis and resolution within incident management. Analysis of complex faults and development of appropriate solutions. Creation of scripts for automation of complex business processes. Creation and maintenance of task-specific technical documentation. Participation in on-call duty.

Completed degree with focus on IT or comparable vocational training. 2-3 years experience in operation and troubleshooting of Windows server operating systems, advantageously in complex IT environments. Experience in solving complex tasks. Understanding of cloud technologies. Knowledge in scripting/automation/programming (preferably PowerShell/Ansible/Python). Willingness to take responsibility, good communication and organizational skills, and teamwork. High willingness to build knowledge with support of suitable training. Negotiation-proficient German and good English skills.

The starting salary is regularly between €44,100 and €55,100 gross p.a. The specific amount is determined based on criteria such as qualifications, area of responsibility and position requirements.
