We are looking for responsible IT specialists who want to further develop the Bundeswehr IT out of conviction in challenging digitalisation projects and thus contribute to Germany's security. The Shared Service Architecture division handles delivery-specific solution developments and is responsible for the functional design of complex, cross-cutting and holistic IT solutions within the service lines. The focus here is on the design and conception of a secure, cost-effective IT solution that meets customer requirements based on the capabilities of the delivery units. Our strength lies in our well-trained employees who specialise in one or more technological focus topics and, in virtual teams together with various stakeholders, shape and further develop the IT infrastructure of our clients. The focus of the activity is on responsible solution development within the introduction and migration of solutions for the Bundeswehr's Centre for Geoinformation.

Responsibility for creating needs-oriented architectures and concepts for migration procedures in the environment of the Bundeswehr's geoinformation service Steering a professional team of internal and external IT solution architects including prioritisation of work packages in solution design Analysis of legacy infrastructures and conception of a cloud or hybrid target architecture taking into account all interfaces and data flows Design of data migration strategies considering performance and storage capacities

Completed degree with a focus on IT or comparable vocational training About 4 years of relevant professional experience in solution architecture as a Solution or IT Architect or as a technical IT consultant Understanding of complex data structures, ideally in the field of geodata, as well as GIS platforms and associated geodatabases or similar systems Experience in migrating legacy applications to a cloud architecture or a hybrid architecture with responsibility for the operation of the application and platform Good communication and assertiveness skills, analytical thinking, goal orientation, decision-making and implementation strength Fluent German skills in word and writing
