As the primary digitalization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, secure, and efficient IT services both domestically and abroad, from basic operations to deployment-adjacent areas, thereby continuously enhancing the Bundeswehr's command and operational capabilities. With over 8,000 colleagues, we operate and modernize one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures in Germany. We are looking for responsible IT specialists who want to further develop the Bundeswehr IT out of conviction in challenging digitalization projects and thus contribute to Germany's security. The area is responsible for central network transitions as a customer solution, manages, plans, and implements customer requirements for existing and new functions and extensions. This involves considering optimizations in the customer's IT infrastructure, the creation and updating of concepts for numerous new requirements, and realizing the implementation. The area is responsible for the provided solutions in cost and personnel union.

Planning and implementation of system changes and cross-system changes Coordination with architects Planning and execution of system infrastructure optimizations Analysis of new requirements / requirement logs and engineering of suitable solutions/functions Creation and maintenance of implementation concepts and engineering of IT solutions Planning and implementation of new functions in existing IT infrastructure

Completed relevant degree or comparable training At least four years of experience in system operations Ideally several years of profound experience in engineering IT system technologies from various manufacturers, particularly in the IT security environment Broad and well-founded technology expertise in the area of network architectures (GBit-TBit) technologies, gateways, and IT security Curiosity and interest in working into complex system solutions Very good German and good English skills both spoken and written
