SAP BW/BI Senior Consultant

As the primary digitalization partner of the German Armed Forces, we provide stable, secure, and efficient IT services both domestically and abroad, from basic operations to deployment-adjacent areas, thereby continuously enhancing the command and operational capabilities of the Bundeswehr. With over 8,000 colleagues, we operate and modernize one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures in Germany. We are looking for responsible IT specialists who want to further develop the Bundeswehr IT out of conviction in challenging digitalization projects and thus contribute to Germany's security. The CS ERP is the reliable and powerful partner for providing business solutions that our customers need for modern planning and control of their business processes. The area CU Personnel and BI is responsible, among other things, for projects and consultations that provide SAP Business Intelligence solutions for the customer.

• Conception, realization, customizing, testing, cut-over, stabilization of our SAP BI solutions in classic and agile projects
• Implementation of changes and error corrections in existing data models and reports
• Monitoring and optimization of the existing system architecture in daily operations
• Coordination of functional and technical requirements with the customer
• Advising the customer on functional-process and technical best practices in the area of responsibility
• Topic-related independent responsibility and/or (sub-)project management in a DevOps-based team

• Completed degree in computer science, engineering, business administration, or comparable training
• At least 3-5 years of practical experience in the conception and implementation of SAP BI projects, both in classic BW/4HANA and in analytical SAP Cloud products
• Methodological knowledge and practical experience in planning and executing SAP projects (e.g., GPM or SCRUM)
• Very good knowledge of SAP architectures and frameworks (especially LSA++, CDS, SAPUI5, OData services)
• Knowledge of native SAP HANA modeling, integrated planning, and SAP Predictive Analytics
