Data Management Expert SAP

As the Bundeswehr's digitalisation partner, BWI is a reliable partner in all project and operating phases of ERP products. The focus is on data management and data quality management to achieve high data quality in the customer's systems. A dedicated team of data management and data governance specialists advises and supports the Bundeswehr both conceptually and operationally.

• Carrying out the technical tasks in small to medium project teams at the customer site
• Acting as the customer's technical contact
• Carrying out specialist tasks independently
• Planning the assigned work packages on your own responsibility
• Supporting the optimisation of data quality and cross-system and cross-application data consistency in customer systems, including operational work in these systems
• Implementing the requirements of data quality management and data management in the area of deployment
• Ensuring high quality in service delivery
• Work in projects across Germany
• The initial project location is Koblenz/Lahnstein

• Completed degree in (business) informatics, a technical degree or a comparable qualification
• Relevant professional experience of at least 5 years, or at least 2 years of relevant experience after an IT degree
• Expertise in a logistics SAP module, preferably EAM, S&P and/or iPPE
• Experience in SAP IS-DFPS (D&S)
• Basic knowledge of the processes and rules of data management and data quality management
• Advanced knowledge of office applications for data analysis and preparation
• Confident manner and strong communication skills
• Ability to develop solution approaches
• Professional experience in the Bundeswehr/public sector client environment
• Willingness to travel nationally, about 30% of the time
• Negotiation-level German in speech and writing
