Cloud SecOps Engineer Storage

As the primary digitalization partner of the Bundeswehr, we provide stable, secure, and efficient IT services both domestically and abroad, from basic operations to deployment-adjacent areas, thereby continuously enhancing the Bundeswehr's command and operational capabilities. With over 8,000 colleagues, we operate and modernize one of the largest and most complex IT infrastructures in Germany. We are looking for responsible IT specialists who want to further develop the Bundeswehr IT out of conviction in challenging digitalization projects and thus contribute to Germany's security. The 'POD 2 Cloud & Platform' department is responsible for the design, development, and operation of the cloud platform for our customers. Using agile development methods and interdisciplinary DevOps teams, we shape the private cloud platform and contribute to the digital future viability of our country. • Design, implementation, and operation of a storage platform for a private cloud of the Bundeswehr in a cross-functional team
• Continuous capture and evaluation of customer requirements together with product management
• Constant further development of the cloud strategy, especially in the area of storage
• Consistent automation and implementation in the sense of a 'Zero-Touch' concept

• Completed degree in IT field or comparable training with at least 5 years of professional experience in complex IT enterprise environments
• Extensive experience in cloud storage, preferably with Rook/Ceph
• Sound knowledge of Kubernetes and container technologies for the design and operation of a Kubernetes-based storage infrastructure
• Proven DevSecOps experience and knowledge of principles such as Infrastructure-as-Code and GitOps
