About this Apprenticeship
BWI operates and modernises the German armed forces' IT. Its Collaboration Enterprise Content Management Frontend department develops and maintains SharePoint and Nintex document and content management systems, applications and workflows throughout their lifecycle in agile teams.
What You'll Learn
- Lead the strategy, design and development of the customer's enterprise content management landscape for application and workflow development
- Define architecture guidelines, ensure compliance with governance requirements and manage complex migration projects
- Set technical requirements for architects and ensure they are followed
- Run architecture workshops with stakeholders and turn business requirements into IT concepts that meet future needs
- Move the existing ECM solution towards modern cloud or hybrid architectures
- Provide technical advice and mentoring to product owners, architects and operations staff
- Ensure the architecture integrates the SharePoint and Nintex installation with surrounding systems
- Ensure all solutions are designed with automation in mind
Requirements
- Completed university degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable subject, or a comparable qualification
- At least 6 years of experience designing complex enterprise content management architectures based on SharePoint on-premises, focusing on application and workflow development with Nintex Automation on-premises
- Experience providing technical leadership to a team of architects developing SharePoint and Nintex applications
- Experience with cloud architectures, Azure CLI, Power Platform, SharePoint Online and on-premises architectures, Graph API, PnP, CSOM, security concepts including MIP and DLP, and frameworks such as SPFx and PHA
- Good knowledge of migrations using ShareGate is desirable
- Experience with Nintex Automation on-premises Enterprise installations as development and runtime environments
- Knowledge of migrating SharePoint on-premises into hybrid environments
- Ability to explain and present complex technical topics in ways suited to stakeholders
- Experience and enjoyment of working in agile teams using Scrum

- Starting pay is generally between €87,700 and €113,150 gross per year. The exact amount depends on factors such as qualifications, responsibilities and the position's requirements. Justified exceptions are possible
