Consultant ITSM Digitalization

As the Bundeswehr's primary digitalization partner, BWI provides stable, secure and efficient IT services. In this role in the Center of Excellence Consulting, you support customers in further developing their IT service management solutions, structure customer requirements and work at the interface between platform strategy, project management and technical implementation.

• Analysis of IT service management processes, especially regarding digitalization and automation potential
• Gathering, assessing and managing requirements
• Further development and design of the ITSM business architecture
• Support in steering the implementation of corresponding solutions with agile teams
• Support of stakeholder management, including moderating workshops and coordination meetings with departments and customers and reaching reliable decisions

• Successfully completed degree in IT management, business informatics, data science or a STEM subject, or a comparable qualification, and at least 2 years of work experience
• Work experience in IT service management, ideally based on ITIL
• Experience with the digitalization of business and ITSM processes
• Experience with integrating AI into business and ITSM processes is desirable
• Experience with backend/cloud automation, e.g. with Ansible or Terraform, is desirable
• Certifications in project management, for example PMI, Scrum or PRINCE2, are desirable
• Interest in building assessment and consulting skills in established methods as well as new technologies and trends
• Understanding of technology, innovation skills, creativity and a high degree of flexibility
• Strategic thinking and analytical skills
• Teamwork skills and an independent way of working
