Senior Security Analyst Digital Forensics in the Security Operations Center (SOC)

As the Bundeswehr's primary digitalization partner, BWI provides stable, secure and efficient IT services. In the Cyber Defense Center (CDC) and the Security Operations Center (SOC), security-relevant systems and networks are monitored and sensor data for detecting attacks on IT infrastructure is evaluated by IT security analysts.

• Securing evidence in disciplinary and criminal investigations and preparing the required documentation in compliance with legal regulations
• Cooperation with law enforcement authorities and internal control bodies
• Independently carrying out forensic investigations and coordinating complex cases together with the Bundeswehr
• Support in collecting and preparing required metrics as a contribution to the IT security situation
• Contributing to and advising on projects within BWI
• Supporting the topic owners by taking on technical and process tasks

• Successfully completed degree with a focus on computer science, IT security or comparable knowledge
• At least 4 years of professional experience in IT security, preferably in CERT or SOC
• In-depth expertise in networks / IT infrastructure and in working with Windows and Linux operating systems
• Several years of experience in digital forensics and security incident response
• Recognized certification in digital forensics (e.g. GCFA, GCFE)
• Fluent English (min. B2), business-fluent German (C2)
