Senior Service Manager for Security Gateways

• Ensure the services and coordination required for the contractual operation of current solutions relating to internal security gateways
• Manage and document the contracted service using agreed metrics
• Take responsibility for cost control of service delivery
• Analyze and document product requirements and vision in cooperation with relevant stakeholders, especially the customer and service delivery teams
• Create and maintain a transparent overview of the product-related order and task backlog
• Manage the internal and external teams required to deliver the service

• Degree in IT, business or a comparable qualification, plus at least 3 years of professional experience in the described tasks
• Good knowledge of the product and service portfolio for security gateways, taking relevant BSI requirements into account
• Good knowledge of IT information security requirements
• Basic architectural understanding of networks and technologies used in them, such as packet filters, ALG, IDS/IPS and LAN/WAN redundancy mechanisms
• Experience managing, developing and enhancing services in accordance with IT baseline protection requirements
• Experience supporting bids and calculating service components in coordination with the participating disciplines
• Experience planning and controlling investments and financial resources
• Experience with customer projects in the public sector or industrial environment; knowledge of the customer's processes and organization is an advantage
• Experience working with suppliers and service providers
• Experience in professional leadership and self-organizing teams
• Practical knowledge of agile working methods and ITIL V3
