About this Apprenticeship
BWI is the Bundeswehr's primary digitalization partner and is looking for IT specialists for the stable and secure operation of business-critical customer applications and for cross-departmental support.
What You'll Learn
- Support of ITIL-compliant handling of incident, change and problem management for the whole department
- Certificate management via a card management system
- Ensuring operations and the security lifecycle in the client/server environment
- Maintenance of middleware, databases and LPAR/VM components in the configuration management database as config librarian
- Administrative support
Requirements
- Completed training in IT specialist for system integration
- ITIL knowledge absolutely required
- Very good knowledge of MS products, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Excel features such as macro control, pivot tables, import/export can be used without problems
- Basic knowledge of encryption, certificates, network technology, firewall, OSI layer model
- Analytical skills, willingness to learn and sense of responsibility
- Willingness to undertake occasional business trips throughout Germany
- Negotiation-level German skills in speaking and writing
