Apprenticeship – Industrial Mechanic, Starting Summer 2027

As an industrial mechanic (m/f/x), your tasks can be very diverse. You must be able to manufacture and assemble components and assemblies. You work in production plants and assemble, maintain or repair technical equipment, machines and systems. Production processes are also monitored by you and colleagues or customers are instructed by you in the use of the equipment.

• Instructing colleagues or customers in the operation and handling of assembly and testing work after successful completion
• Deployment in the manufacture of machines and precision engineering devices as well as production of components from metal and plastic
• Familiarization with techniques such as turning, milling, drilling, grinding and various joining techniques as well as assembling and adjusting components
• Setting up workstations, organizing production or manufacturing processes and monitoring them taking into account the company's quality management systems
• First contact with latest technologies such as networked machine systems and robotics
• Carrying out maintenance and inspections and checking mechanical components

• A good secondary school, intermediate school or higher educational qualification
• Good grades in mathematics, physics and technology
• Interest in technical processes and equipment as well as manual dexterity
• Spatial and analytical thinking skills and interest in precise work
• A high level of commitment and self-motivation
• Team, communication and problem-solving skills
