Data Management Architect

As a Data Management Architect at ZEISS in Oberkochen, you will shape the data landscape for highly complex manufacturing processes in semiconductor technology. You will work at the interface between manufacturing, data and IT, taking responsibility from analysis through to implementation.

• You analyze complex manufacturing processes and model processes, data and dependencies, for example as a digital twin.
• You develop robust data architectures and data models for consistent and sustainable data use
• You turn business problems into technical and organizational solution concepts
• You identify opportunities to improve automation, process reliability and data quality and drive the implementation of suitable measures
• You facilitate workshops, bring together different perspectives and establish reliable grounds for decisions.
• You provide technical leadership for demanding data management and digitization projects

• You have completed a degree in Computer Science, Natural Sciences or Engineering with excellent results, or hold an equivalent qualification. A doctorate is welcome.
• You have solid experience in data management, ideally involving complex technical products or manufacturing processes
• You have experience with data modeling, data architectures, information flows and data quality
• You can quickly understand and structure complex problems that are initially unclear and turn them into practical solutions.
• You do not wait for fully defined work packages; you independently identify what is needed, take responsibility and consistently drive tasks forward
• You combine strong conceptual skills with a practical approach, persuasiveness and high quality standards.
• You communicate confidently in German and English
