Development Engineer DUV/WIO

ZEISS Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology is looking for a development engineer for DUV/WIO at its Oberkochen site. Around 80 percent of all microchips worldwide are made with ZEISS technologies; ZEISS is a technology leader in semiconductor manufacturing equipment.

• Further development, evaluation and series support of designs for projection lenses in the DUV area.
• Requirements management in close contact with relevant stakeholders.
• Defining and agreeing work packages and coordinating them with external service providers.
• Industrialization of designs, including ensuring design verification, manufacturability and integration capability, as well as risk management.
• Presenting and representing your assigned topics to internal and external customers.

• A very good university degree in mechanical engineering / mechatronics / aerospace engineering / precision engineering, with at least 3 years of professional experience, ideally in development or operations.
• Excellent planning and organizational skills and the resilience to match in rapidly changing conditions and requirements.
• Understanding of systems and their further development within tight constraints.
• Enjoyment of working with agile methods.
• Teamwork, communication skills, persuasiveness and a high degree of initiative.
• A confident and composed manner and a methodical, structured and solution-oriented way of working.
• Negotiation-level English skills, spoken and written.
