About this Apprenticeship
As a machine operator at ZEISS Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology in Oberkochen, you process high-precision optical components for semiconductor manufacturing.
What You'll Learn
- Provide products for machining components made of various optical materials
- Prepare and set up machines, e.g. Hermle 5-axis machining machines
- Carry out measurements on coordinate measuring machines
- Check components for optical defects
- Carry out maintenance and repair work
- Carry out support tasks such as cementing and lasering
Requirements
- Successfully completed training as a cutting machine operator (Zerspanungsmechaniker/in)
- Knowledge of grinding and turning technology and experience with machine controls (e.g. Siemens control)
- Several years of experience with measuring devices (PRISMO)
- Careful and conscientious way of working
- Strong analytical thinking and a high degree of independence and teamwork
- Experience with high-quality raw materials and machines
- Good IT skills, especially MS Office, plus knowledge of FASYS and SAP
- Willingness to work in a 3-shift system
- Fluent German in speech and writing
