Internship in Equipment Management - Focus on Spare Parts Management & Service Level Management

Internship at ZEISS combining studies and practice, working on interesting projects in spare parts management. The position mostly requires on-site work.

• Support in analyzing and optimizing spare parts inventories for production-critical equipment
• Recording and evaluating existing spare parts and warehouse strategies
• Help develop and standardize processes in spare parts management
• Analysis of equipment structures, critical components and availability requirements
• Support in building KPI and reporting concepts for spare parts management and service levels
• Analysis of response times, availability and service indicators
• Creating evaluations, presentations and decision papers
• Help with workshops with maintenance, production, purchasing and logistics
• Support in identifying and implementing optimization potential along the entire supply chain

• Studies in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, production technology, logistics or a comparable field
• Interest in maintenance, asset management, logistics and supply chain processes
• Analytical thinking and a structured, independent way of working
• First experience with SAP or comparable ERP systems is an advantage
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Good German and English skills, spoken and written
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment of working with different departments
