Internship in Materials Laboratory

The SPU is the joint production unit of ZEISS. We produce key components for our ZEISS divisions and are thus the enabler and the hand of the pioneer ZEISS. • Preparing samples (e.g. metallographic sections)
• Assisting in the examination (e.g. hardness and tensile tests, scanning electron microscopy) of materials
• Carrying out and documenting heat treatments

• Studies in materials science or mechanical engineering
• Mandatory internship according to examination regulations
• Technical understanding
• Confident use of MS Office
• Very good German skills and basic English skills for communication in the team
• Independent, team-oriented working style and a high degree of initiative
