Legal Trainee Labor Law

Attorney or elective station with a focus on labor law in Covestro's legal department in an international corporate environment. You support the team in the legal support of day-to-day business and labor law projects and work closely with Human Resources, managers and in-house counsel.

• labor law advice to the Human Resources department and managers in day-to-day business and projects
• preparation and attendance of Covestro-internal and court appointments
• conducting legal research and evaluating current labor law case law
• analyzing changes in legislation and developing proposals for their implementation at Covestro
• supporting individual labor law measures, in particular warnings and terminations
• reviewing and drafting contracts, contract templates, works agreements, spokesperson committee agreements and presentations with a labor law focus
• support with further legal questions, in particular in general civil law as well as commercial and corporate law

• you have completed the first state law examination with above-average success, ideally with at least "vollbefriedigend", preferably with a focus on labor law
• you bring interest in economic contexts and entrepreneurial decision-making
• you work with legal precision while keeping pragmatic solutions in mind
• you are confident with MS Office, especially Word and PowerPoint, as well as legal databases and digital research tools
• you communicate very well in German and English, orally and in writing
• you bring team spirit, initiative and a structured, independent way of working
• you think analytically and can confidently classify complex matters
• you are willing to contribute your own ideas and suggestions for improvement
