Apprenticeship as Machining Mechanic

Apprenticeship as a machining mechanic (m/f/d) at Daimler Truck AG at the Mannheim plant. Training starts 13 September 2027. Full-time (part-time possible). The responsible vocational school is the Carl-Benz-Schule in Mannheim. We offer good Realschule graduates the chance to earn the Fachhochschulreife alongside their training.

• Manufacturing precision components for production systems and vehicles
• Manual and machine processing of materials, such as turning, milling and grinding
• Using pneumatic, hydraulic and sensor control technology to service and maintain machines and systems
• Machine manufacturing of precision components according to design drawings, work plans and procedural instructions
• Programming and setting up CNC machines
• Working with quality and work instructions

• A successful school-leaving qualification
• Solid basic knowledge of mathematics and physics and good spatial awareness
• Manual skill, technical understanding and a strong interest in machines and systems
• Sense of responsibility, accuracy and teamwork
• Interest in computers, machines and systems and willingness to take on responsibility
