About this Apprenticeship
The Daimler Buses Service Center Leipzig is responsible for the repair, maintenance and upkeep of buses of the brands Setra and Mercedes-Benz. We are a team of 29 employees and are looking for you as an employee in the field of commercial vehicle technology. We ensure the functionality, safety and reliability of our commercial vehicles. We maintain a very familiar atmosphere and offer regular working hours. If you like working in a team and want to carry out varied tasks every day, you are exactly right at the Service Center Leipzig.
What You'll Learn
- Accident repair work on commercial vehicles
- Adapt vehicle parts, welding work and exterior/interior restoration
- You carry out customer-specific conversion and retrofitting work
- You use IT systems for processing, documentation and information
- You process tasks according to currently valid process descriptions (e.g. workshop processes, GuK processing etc.)
Requirements
- You have a completed technical vocational training as a motor vehicle body and vehicle construction mechanic (m/f/d) or comparable training
- You ideally bring professional experience in the commercial vehicle sector
- You work independently and customer-oriented
- You have a passion for technology and enjoy teamwork
- You are characterized by a high willingness to perform
