About this Apprenticeship
Daimler Buses Service Center Hirschberg is hiring for its alternative drive systems team. Its 50 employees repair and maintain Setra and Mercedes-Benz buses and ensure the safety, operation and performance of their high voltage systems.
What You'll Learn
- Repair, service and maintain electric, hybrid and hydrogen fuel cell vehicles
- Carry out vehicle modifications and retrofits
- Use IT systems to process work, keep records and access information
- Complete tasks according to current process instructions, such as workshop processes and warranty and goodwill handling
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as a vehicle mechatronics technician or comparable training
- Experience with commercial vehicles is desirable
- Strong willingness to work hard
- An independent and customer focused approach to work
- Ability to work in a team and enjoyment of working with people
