About this Apprenticeship
The Daimler Buses Mannheim Service Center is hiring for electrical and mechanical work on commercial vehicles. Its team of 50 employees repairs and maintains Setra and Mercedes-Benz buses, ensuring their mechanical and electrical components work safely and reliably.
What You'll Learn
- Carry out repairs, servicing and maintenance on buses
- Inspect and repair vehicle components
- Carry out diagnostic and adjustment work using diagnostic tools
- Perform customer-specific conversions and retrofits
- Identify parts using computer systems
- Use IT systems to process work, keep records and access information
Requirements
- Completed technical vocational training as an automotive electrician, automotive mechatronics technician or in a comparable field
- Experience working with buses is desirable
- An independent and customer-focused approach to work
- A passion for technology and enjoyment of teamwork
