About this Apprenticeship
Internship in Productive Purchasing Mechatronics at Daimler Buses. The department is globally responsible for strategic and operational procurement of mechatronic components and systems across the whole product lifecycle. Fixed term of 6 months.
What You'll Learn
- Taking part in strategy talks with suppliers, including preparation and follow-up
- Direct communication with suppliers and internal specialist departments
- Contributing to purchasing decisions by preparing relevant data and submitting recommendations
- Active participation in negotiations with suppliers
- Helping shape purchasing and product projects
- Ordering required parts
- Supporting the team in developing, documenting and implementing existing projects
Requirements
- You are currently studying business administration, engineering, industrial engineering, economics or an equivalent degree program
- Foreign language skills in English are required
- Your strengths are independent thinking and action and an outgoing nature
- You stand out through your ability to work with people from other cultures
- You are open to new challenges
- Your knowledge of MS standard software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is very good
- Basic SAP knowledge would be an advantage
- Enjoyment of work and own initiative
- You follow the code of conduct (compliance)
