Engineer Building Services as Expert for Ventilation, Smoke Extraction and Fire Extinguishing Systems

The Electrical and Building Technology department tests safety systems and supports innovative renewable energy projects. If you are not yet recognized as an expert under building law, you can join the comprehensive training programme.

• Your area of responsibility includes independent testing of safety systems in buildings and industrial plants. These include ventilation, smoke extraction, pressurization, CO warning and extinguishing systems
• You carry out construction-accompanying quality controlling and prepare expert reports including measurements
• In your region you work independently or in a team with colleagues and are supported by qualified back office staff
• You support our customers in ensuring compliance with official and legal regulations
• You use your network to expand the customer base and grow the business

• Academic university degree in building services, energy or building technology, mechanical engineering or a comparable field
• Work experience in planning, calculation, construction and operation of building services (TGA) systems
• Recognition or comprehensive knowledge of technical building regulations, building law and the trades to be tested, plus experience writing expert reports, desirable
• Expressive skills to write meaningful and precise reports and expert opinions
• Negotiation-level, professional German skills (level C1) in speech and writing required
• Independent, reliable and flexible way of working
• Routine use of MS Office
• Driver's license class B and willingness to work in the field around your place of residence
