Medical Assistant / MFA Occupational Medicine

The Occupational Medicine department offers occupational health customer care nationwide in all industries and company sizes, mainly advising companies and carrying out the required occupational health examinations of employees.

• You support our occupational medicine specialists and company doctors in internal and local field service
• Your tasks include carrying out occupational health diagnostics, including audiometry, eye tests, lung function tests and psychometrics
• You also take blood samples, give vaccinations and carry out urine tests
• You monitor and carry out maintenance checks and the necessary care of medical products and devices
• Your work also includes procuring medical supplies and preparing lab samples
• As contact for our customers you handle appointment coordination, office organization and issuing certificates, as well as service recording and related billing

• Training as a medical assistant or a comparable qualification in a medical assistant profession
• Several years of professional experience, ideally in occupational medicine practice
• Proof of full measles protection under the Measles Protection Act (vaccination record or medical certificate) required; current emergency training is an advantage
• Experienced use of MS Office in occupational medicine and in managing electronic records
• Strong writing skills to produce meaningful and precise documentation and reports
• Independent, responsible, structured, cooperative and service-oriented way of working
• Class B driving licence and willingness to work locally in the field
