About this Apprenticeship
The damage assessment department focuses on creating reports after accidents, determining the extent and cause of damage, securing evidence, and assessing value changes. We even provide support for damage caused by hail, storms, and other natural forces. A field with many challenges in ever-new working environments.
What You'll Learn
- You assess accident damage and accident sequences on cars, commercial vehicles, and mobile machinery
- With your expertise, you determine the required repair processes and measures, taking into account all relevant technical, legal, and contractual regulations and methods for creating reports and assessments
- You serve as a trusted advisor to our customers
Requirements
- Master's degree in automotive technology or car body and vehicle construction trade
- Alternatively a degree in vehicle technology, mechanical engineering, or a comparable course of study, combined with professional experience in the automotive sector, e.g., as a test engineer
- Relevant experience in motor vehicle repair
- Knowledge of expert systems such as Audatex, DAT, or Schwacke is an advantage
- High level of quality awareness and a proactive, service-oriented working style
- Strong communication skills to create meaningful and precise assessments and reports
- Class B driver's license and willingness to work locally in the field
