Vehicle Damage Assessor / Expert Appraiser

The damage assessment department is all about preparing reports after accidents, determining the amount and cause of damage, securing evidence and determining changes in value. We even help with damage caused by hail, storms and other natural forces.

• You assess accident damage and accident sequences on cars, commercial vehicles and mobile machinery
• With your expertise you define the necessary repair procedures and measures, taking into account all relevant technical, legal and contractual provisions and methods for preparing reports and valuations
• You support our customers as a trusted advisor

• Master craftsperson qualification in automotive technology or in the body and vehicle construction trade
• Alternatively a degree in vehicle engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or a comparable field, combined with work experience in the automotive sector, e.g. as a testing engineer
• Relevant experience in motor vehicle repair
• Knowledge of expert systems such as Audatex, DAT or Schwacke is an advantage
• High level of quality awareness and a proactive, service-oriented way of working
• Strong ability to express yourself in order to produce meaningful and precise assessments and reports
• Driving licence class B and willingness to work locally in the field
