About this Apprenticeship
DEKRA is the market leader in vehicle inspection and offers modern inspection lanes with state-of-the-art testing technology at 74 branches nationwide. If you are not yet recognized or appointed as an inspection engineer (PI) / motor vehicle expert, you can take part in the comprehensive training program. The role is also offered at other locations across Germany.
What You'll Learn
- Your tasks include independently carrying out recurring general inspections and safety checks on motor vehicles and their trailers under § 29 StVZO
- You are also responsible for modification approvals under § 19.3 StVZO
- You also prepare inspection reports and technical expert reports
- With your expertise you are a trusted contact for our customers and use your network to expand your customer base
Requirements
- Academic university degree in engineering: mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering or a comparable technical field
- Ideally completed vocational training and/or initial professional experience in the automotive sector
- If applicable, already appointed as an inspection engineer (PI) or aaSoP in vehicle inspection
- Proficient use of MS Office
- Confident manner with customers and strong communication skills
- Service-oriented, independent and responsible way of working
- Driving licence classes A, B and CE or willingness to acquire them
- Willingness to work locally in the field
